wearables
These wearables mark spaces and interactions.
Each begins with recording an impression of body in porcelain- the shaping of clay into the collarbones, or along a rib, or the divets that appear in an outstretched hand.
The wearable is further formed through intuitive decision-making.
I respond directly to the original clay impression, adding and subtracting material to develop a unique, unrepeatable wearable. No molds or casting techniques are used.
